I want to use the laser cutter or 3D printer but I’m new to it. How do I learn?
Only members trained to use items in the space can use them. Tool trainings are free for members. Check our calendar for the next training and to sign up.
What materials do you have at the space for me to use?
For the 3D printers, we have lots of filament for you to use! We also have plenty of thread for the sewing machines and craft tools like glue guns, but our collections of fabric and yarn are currently in storage. For the laser cutter, we have some cardboard and plywood on hand that have been donated by members. We ask that if you are regularly using those materials, to replace them. Not sure what kind of cardboard or wood to buy? Ask contact@bostonmakers.org or your teacher in a tool training. We also have some acrylic available for the laser cutter.
