Our new bi-weekly Microcontroller Club starts on Monday, March 9th at 7:00 PM and no previous experience with microcontrollers needed. Teens and adults are welcome. We’ll meet bi-weekly to design, program, and build, an interactive project using a microcontroller. One possibility is creating something for Figment Boston, a participatory art event coming to Boston in July and another idea is something for the Fab11 Conference coming to Boston in August. Or maybe we’ll create a project that works for both. Please bring your ideas for a community project to our first meeting from 7:00 – 9:00 PM which will be held in the basement of the Hyde Square Youth Community Development Center (behind the Blessed Sacrament Church) 361 Centre Street in Jamaica Plain. A small donation of $5.00 or less is requested to cover supplies.
The Young Makers Club led by Dominic Burdick resumes this Sunday March 1st from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and will run until May 3rd. There are some blackout date so check our events calendar for more info. This is an opportunity for young makers 10+yrs to meet, learn, and share ideas. Held in the basement of the Youth Community Development Center (behind the Blessed Sacrament Church) at 361 Centre Street in Jamaica Plain. A donation of $5.00 or whatever you can afford is requested to cover supplies. Please reserve your spot by completing this online form.
